“Chitta vritti nirodha” - Patanjali Yoga Sutras
Yoga is the process of quieting (nirodha) the constant chatter in our mind (chitta) through practices (vrittis) to achieve a state of inner stillness and clarity.
The complexity of the asanas scares away most people. But when practiced intentionally, yoga is not just about measuring your flexibility: it’s about nurturing the quiet strength within to meet life’s challenges with calm and clarity.

As a yogi and yoga instructor, Laxmi possesses a quiet confidence and grounded wisdom, which has both encouraged and inspired me within my yoga journey. She has a peaceful presence and a gift for communicating relevant and powerful yogic principles, alongside demonstrations of the traditional asanas in a physical yoga practice. She provides a safe space and wonderful resource for growing in mindful awareness and character, while simultaneously building physical strength and stability. __ Elizabeth Hudgens
I used to have knee pain after running all day and had to wear a knee brace just to run. Now, after practicing yoga with Laxmi three times a week, I no longer have knee pain or need the brace. It’s completely changed how I feel after running, not just physically but mentally as well. My body feels more flexible, and I feel better overall. I’ve been pretty consistent with this routine sine March, 2025. — Kiran Ravvuri
I have known Laxmi for more than a decade. As a friend, I’ve always admired her passion and commitment towards any project or work she undertakes. She is a perfectionist. However, what sets her apart is the warmth and encouragement she offers to everyone. There is a sense of calmness around her that makes one feel comfortable immediately. I can confidently say that anyone who joins her on her journey to teach and spread positivity through yoga will find themselves connecting with a more profound sense of self. __ Kavitha Bhosle
Had a fantastic yoga session with Laxmi today—she’s an amazing teacher! If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend giving yoga a shot. Practicing 2-3 times a week can really help reduce inflammation in the body and improve balance and flexibility. All physical activities, from running to gym workouts, cause lactic acid buildup, and yoga is the best way to relieve it. I definitely recommend taking a class with Laxmi in person if you can; nothing beats the experience. If not you can always consider signing up for online classes or a subscription. This is especially great for anyone who’s into the gym or running—trust me, you’ll feel the difference. —Srinivas Chittaluru
